Since childhood, I loved art and wanted to become a painter. However, at a certain point, I had to be honest with myself and admit that I couldn’t draw. In the ensuing confusion, I grabbed my grandfather’s camera and started taking pictures with it.

After a while, I realized that photography was a perfect way for me to enter worlds I would otherwise never have been able to enter. I am fascinated by people and their stories, and I find Adam Ondra’s journey to the pinnacles of sport as exciting as the descent of an Ostrava miner into the depths of the earth. Never easing up and never losing the longing for humanity and the beauty within it. This is my life’s journey.
